Dance is a Sport: Sonnet

So an assignment was to turn a poem that we had already written into a sonnet. So this is my sonnet haha

Sonnets have a rhyme scheme of
abab
cdcd
efgefg
in any order of those 3.

And it has to be in some sort of iambic form. So I chose an iamic pantameter. If you dont know that is, ask me later.

Dance is a Sport

Dancers, like boxers, have to be fit.
Ballerinas have to fly across the room.
They have to portray zero gravity.
Every beat, like a drum you have to hit.
Once the music turns on , there is a sudden boom.
For Hip Hop dancers burst with energy.

Guys mock, ridicule, and make fun of it.
"Dance is not a sport, its easy"
I want to see action, not words. So try it.
After your experience, come and tell me.

You sweat like you just took a shower.
Dance teachers push you, can you take the heat?
You fail if you dont give a hundred percent of power.
Dancers actually can be stronger than athletes.
