Goals

Ok...I know Im only a freshman but I have a list of goals and colleges haha and if you see me walking around, help remind me of them okay? :)

Colleges:

Since Im kinda bored of listing academic goals...here are some other goals :)

Eventual Non-Academic Goals:

1) Varsity Dance Troupe

2) Editor of Newspaper

4) Choreograph a dance for the dance show

(instead of choreographing for no reason like I am right now lol)

Lucky

The Demon Roller coaster comes to an end.
"OMG that was so much fun!" we shout to our best friends waiting in line to go onto the ride.
"We will watch and wait for your outside"
"Okay!"
My best friend Ruhi and I go out to rest in the shady patch of grass just outside of the Demon ride.
But something doesnt seem right.
I cant hear constant screaming of the constant roller coasters racing down the tracks.
Something must be up.
I tell my friend but she just brushes it off.
But I knew something was wrong.
Then all of a sudden, we see a few park security guys walk towards the ride.
Then a flood of visitors waiting in line come pouring out of the queue.
Something has to be up.
We knew that our 2 friends were on that ride when we last saw them.
We run towards the exit of the ride but no one knew what was going on.
We saw a roller coaster car sitting on the tracks empty.
Something bad just happened.
Ruhi and I run frantically all around the coaster to see where the missing coaster went.
But we couldnt find them.
Worst of all, we were going to be on that car. Only if we went with them.

Due to the confusions of the lines, we couldnt ride the same ride as them.

I felt like it was my fault. I would have been on that roller coaster. I should be stuck there right now.
And worse, our friend Katie, who was scared of roller coasters, was on this particular one.
My heart beats faster and faster.
It feels like it was going to jump out of my chest.
Both of my friends who I consider my brother and sister was on that ride.
I felt like I was going to die.
Hearing all the spectators saying "the ride is stuck", "the car went missing", "it stopped" just made my fears worsen.
I thought that the worst has happened to them.

What if they are stuck for hours?

What if they are upside down for a long time?

What if the tracks broke and they are injured?

What if they died?

Tear felt like they were going to pour out but they never came.

I couldnt feel my legs.
5 minutes later, we hear a scream and tracks racing by.
Those short 5 minutes seemed to slow down and feel like 5 hours.
I was relieved but worried at the same time.
Ruhi and I dash to the tracks to find the passengers trembling yet happy.
Then we spot our friends.
We run towards them, right into their arms.
After everything settled, we asked what happened.
They told us that they were stuck but it could have be worse.

Then I realized.
How lucky they were.
How lucky I was. That my friends are unharmed.
I thought that the worse thing had happened to them
But luckily it was only a minor problem.

I hear all these amusement park accident stories and I never really thought about it.

"Oh, its another park story of someone getting injured"

But this incident really made me realize.
It could happen to any of us, any where, any time.
It was so scary.

So I just feel so lucky that my friends walked away from that ride without an injury but with a memory :)

Rude People

Hi you guys!

Its like 10 and i dont feel like doing hw so im going to be blogging.

You know what I hate?

People who think theyre so cool but arent.
Like they put others down, laugh really loud for attention, think they are better than everyone else, have no manners, etc.

That really bugs me.
I feel like slapping them.

If you have to know one thing about me, besides my pinkness, you would have to know that I absolutely hate these kinds of people.

You know its really crowded near the door of Dobbins right?
So today, I walked down the stairs and started to slow down at the door because of the massive crowd.
Everyone is trying to push their way through the tiny doorway and this rude girl is behind me going "MOVE IT B!TCH"
excuse me! but I cant move any faster because theres is a wall of people in front of me.
Then, after she escapes the crowd of hurrying students, she goes up to this guy, laughs really loud so everyone turns around shes likes "HAHA STUPID FRESHMEN"

Here are some of my pet peeves. And my best friends probably already figured them out during the week of Annie Get Your Gun cause i was one cranky person.


My pet peeves:
1) really slow people
2) oblivious people
3) people who think they are so good
4) rude people
5) people who have no manners or respect
6) upperclassmen who put down freshman when they dont even know us
7) people who say "whatever" or "i dont care"
8) people who dont appreciate performing arts haha
well, only if they think its stupid and easy.....its not
9) people who dont think dance is a sport
yes, dance is a sport
haha that ones not a pet peeve, just gets annoying when people think that it isnt

yeah I know...Im kinda wierd and I have harsh expectations
But thats just how I am

So Im really glad that my friends arent like that.
Because they are nice, decent, well-mannered people who respect others.
So others respect them.
So Im so proud to call them my friends :)

Yeah so that was my little rant on rude people.

What is love?

What do we know about love?

Some people in high school believe that they have figured out everything about the opposite gender.
They think that they know everything about being a relationships.
All the Do's and Dont's.
But I think that none of us really know what love is till we find the one.
And even if we do, he or she might not even be the one.
Most of you would probably agree with me that we, high school kids, dont know much about love.
And we wont know till college or beyond.
I dont think we will ever know what true love is and everything about relationships.
Even in college and beyond.
Not that we will really know.
But no one knows EVERYTHING about relationships
you know?

Im not criticizing you if you are in a relationship and going "what the betch vicky thats so not true. me and my bf/gf are happy together and we totally understand each other and were totally comfortable with each other"
I know. I know.
I know how that feels like.
Im just stating my opinion about this whole love topic.
Not about crushes and relationships.
I mean its great when youre with someone who really cares about you and loves you.
Everything in the world feels like its going right.
And you have another happy thing to look foward to that day when you wake up :)

Im just saying....some people think they know all about it.
But love and relationships are about the ups and downs, love and loss, new and old, laughs and tears, etc.
Which are the risks yet rewards of relationships :)
OK. Im not putting down high school relationships.
Im just thinking about them
Cause theyre fun and all but i dont know.
Im not saying I regard relationships as fun and games.
Im not that mean lol
For me, I would like to be with someone who (the list below) and will support me without distracting me from my school and family life.

My Ideal Boyfriend:

• Ditch his friends for me
• Wait for me after classes.
• Spend his free time with me rather than playing blockles.
• Comforts me when Im down.
• Polite but outgoing
• Gentle and cares about my feelings
• Give me a hug or a kiss once in a while
• Listen to what I have to say...even if its venting
• Isnt pervy
• Makes me laugh when Im down. But still comforts me
• Can dance
• Dance in the middle of the hallway and doesnt care
• And then dance and sing with me in the middle of main :P
• Isnt messy and doesnt stink like a pig hahaha
• Talk freely on whatever is on his mind....even if he thinks its weird...and it probably isnt cause he cant top my wierdness :D
• Call me up once in a while to say hi (its a little gesture but means a lot)
• Not embarassed of me
• Supports me in everything I do
• Not afraid to tell me if Im making a mistake
• Will tell me the truth...even if i do look fat in that dress
• Isnt failing classes...i know...only at harker haha
• Romantic
• Fun Fun Fun
• Doesnt criticize and/or put down the performing arts
• Isnt loud at innapropiate times
• Start a convo and not try to play hard to get (-_- that really drives the girl away)

So yeah.
I dont know.
Im waiting for the right guy.
Usually great guys pop out of nowhere

Until then, Im going to live my life to the fullest
enjoy every single day of my awesome single life :D

Depression

Hi...again haha
wow 3 blogs in one day
I must be REALLY bored

but yeah
this time I have a point to this blog

You know how things always come back after a generation or 2 rite?
Well, the depression is one of them.
The Great Depression of the 1930s was a huge downfall for America.
The economy went down.
Many people lost their jobs.
Many people lost their lives.
It took us decades for us to recover.

In my last blog, I talked about having a flood of orders coming in
well...im back and its 8:00...
and the most orders I had today was 10 at a time..sadly
that is like 6% of our profit last year
The economy is falling quickly
and in about 5 years, we are going into a depression :(

My mom was telling me about this and how it will hit us really badly if I dont start saving $$

You probably are hearing this on the news and thinking "this is not going to affect me. it is not going to be that bad."
Thats what I thought...
Well...here is a real life example that is happening to my family right now
Along with this huge lose of income, we had to lay off half of the employees.
So I have to go work at the restaurant every weekend from now on.
We lost a lot of our customers due to their lack of wage.
We cannot freely spend money on leisurely things anymore.
We're not traveling to visit our family in Asia this summer for it is too expensive.

So next time your out shopping, think.
Do you want to spend it on that really cute bag even though you have 10 at home?
Or do you want to save it just in case you lose your house?

Boredom

Ok so I know I just posted a blog like an hour ago

but i am really really bored

so Im gonna type away randomly

DEWD today is mothers day and the business is going to be crazy
crazier than valentines day!
i was bombarded by like 65+ take out orders at one time that day
and i went crazy
plus i had to deal with crazy unfair customers :(

but yeah time for customer quotes!
"excuse me, but this salmon tastes too fishy"
"excuse me, but this restaurant is unfair, your sushi price raised up by 2 cents"
my reply: umm maybe cause of tax?
"this fish doenst have enough meat on it"
"i dont like my food to be touching"
(after ordering 48 sushi rolls for a party)
